Creating a Forme

There are numerous techniques for creating a forme, yet all adhere to the same fundamental process: first, a material is wrapped around the last to capture its three-dimensional contours. This material is then carefully removed and subsequently flattened, resulting in a precise two-dimensional template that serves as the foundation for all subsequent pattern cutting and manufacturing steps.
